Nie wiem jak, ale dałem radę spakować się na dzienną zmianę tak, by pojechać rowerem. Było to o tyle łatwiejsze, że dziś jest dzień wolny i nie potrzebowałem butów na zmianę – wystarczyły tylko te do biegania. Dziś pogoda była iście wiosenna, ale zapowiadane jest jej pogorszenie. Nie mam kurtki przeciwdeszczowej na rower, ponieważ z zasady w deszczu nie jeżdżę. To taka trauma po tym, jak kilka lat temu przewróciłem się na śliskiej kostce brukowej. Zobaczymy, jak będzie w środę – wtedy pogoda będzie szczególnie ważna.

[ENG] I’m not sure how, but I managed to pack for my day shift so that I could commute by bike. It was easier because today is a public holiday, and I didn't need a change of shoes—my running shoes were enough. It felt like spring today, but the weather is expected to take a turn for the worse. I don’t own a rain jacket for cycling since I make it a rule not to ride in the rain. It’s a bit of a trauma from a few years ago when I wiped out on slippery cobblestones. We’ll see how Wednesday goes; the weather will be especially important then.

W czasie przerwy na lunch trochę potruchtałem. Zgodnie z sugestią wirtualnego trenera nieco zwolniłem i starałem się utrzymać tętno na poziomie 140 bpm. Taka właśnie była moja średnia. Efektem kontrolowania pulsu było tempo biegu w granicach 6:30 min/km. Wolniej nie znaczy gorzej, szczególnie w fazie budowania wydolności tlenowej.

[ENG] During my lunch break, I went for a light jog. Following my virtual coach's suggestion, I slowed down a bit and tried to keep my heart rate around 140 bpm. That ended up being my average heart rate. As a result of monitoring my pulse, my pace was around 6:30 min/km. Slower doesn’t mean worse, especially during the aerobic base-building phase.
