Day 1480 | Body Workout / Run / Yoga

(Edited)

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, and my personal life...

I started the day with a morning body work out increasing a tiny bit on the reps I did last time followed by a 3.77 km run at quite a slow pace. In the early evening, I joined another yoga session staying fully on track for my 5x5 challenge goig 5 times a week for 5 weeks. I will be joining a lunchbreak 60 minute yoga session on Friday and if the weather allows it go on a 3-hour walk in the early evening.

Completed Workout:

2x 70 Sec Plank
2x2 50 Sec Side-Plank
3x8 Push-Ups
3x8 Bench Press
3x3 Pull-up
3x3 Chin-Up
4x12 Squat
2x20 Knee-Up

May 5x5 Hot Yoga Challenge

wow you are really taking this seriously and it looks like you are seeing some pretty great results? Let me ask you this? Do you enjoy it or do you kind of dread having to do the work?

I'm quite lucky to have a lot of time and I do enjoy most of the thinks like joining hot yoga classes or going on walks which are never a dread. The muscle exercises which tend to cause some uncomfort the day after along with keeping my eating clean however does take some willpower. What also helps is having a fixed timeframe of having a certain routine and switching that up over time. I guess the hardest part eventually will be to find a balance in some kind of maintenance mode as I tend to be all or nothing :-)

If anything, blogging has helped me tremendously because it's in a way looking at the mirror each day not allowing myself to totally drift away. After many years this has become a great routine as one of the first things I do after waking up. I could recommend that to everyone

Cheers,
