Community, Simplicity, and Good Food: An Unexpected Day Off at the Indian Restaurant Actifit Report Card: December 6 2023
I wrote this on my day off and I totally forgot to post it haha 😂 but it's ok luckily I kept it in my notes happy reading everyone.

Whenever it's my day off these days I feel grateful it's weird to me because I never felt this way in my life 🧬

I guess it's the age talking maybe? I always go to this cheap Indian shop the food is good quite similar to Malaysia food not 🚫 many shop you can find like this in the UAE.

Also I notice the Indians have a community friendly type of vibe going on. For example there is this one guy he works nearby the restaurant so he put his bottle of water inside the restaurant fridge so he can drink it anytime he is free from work or it's time for him to eat.
- Finally I'm home 🏡
So the restaurant owner allowed their customers to put their personal things inside the restaurant I think that's a beautiful thing to have. Reason why I say this I always work in a restaurant where there are rules and you must follow them if not you get fired simple.
But this restaurant is special the owner share with you his space to make your life easier. The second reason why I always come here the owner always so friendly with me and basically everyone he talks to everyone and also he remembers what I like that's my job actually haha 😂

At work I need to remember customers name, what food and drinks they like and what time they usually come in also their customer ID number so they can get point etc a lot of work but this special restaurant restaurant that I always eat in he doesn't remember my name but he does remember what I like to eat and drink.

He doesn't get anything extra by remembering these things like my restaurant where I work in it's just about the friendship and community type of restaurant. I think 💬 this is the best business model. There is no need of this buy 10 free 1 drink there's no need for a card to collect points just be present make it simple, easy and cheap.
Then you get endless customers coming into your shop because most people are just normal people who work and feed their family nothing else. Well I guess that's all for today it's time for me to go see you all tomorrow.
