El sábado estuve haciendo una actividad única que nunca había tenido la oportunidad de hacer: senderismo.

El Parque Nacional Waraira Repano, mejor conocido como Cerro El Ávila, es una montaña que rodea la ciudad de Caracas.

Los caraqueños suelen subir el ávila bien sea en teleférico, en jeep 4x4 o caminando. Esta última es una actividad muy recurrente y que muchos deportistas se la toman muy en serio.

Yo para nada soy deportista, de hecho, jamás había hecho una actividad de este tipo, pero mi prima me invitó a ir con ella y su amigo.

Me prometieron que el recorrido valía la pena ya que desde arriba se podían ver las mejores vistas de Caracas y tenían razón. En este video les comparto toda mi experiencia, Tengo que ser sincera: no fue fácil para mí, estaba muy cansada, pero a pesar de eso fue un rato agradable y divertido.

On Saturday I am doing a unique activity that I have never had the opportunity to do: hiking.

The Waraira Repano National Park, better known as Cerro El Ávila, is a mountain that surrounds the city of Caracas.

The people of Caracas usually go up the Avila either by cable car, by 4x4 jeep or on foot. The latter is a very recurring activity and one that many athletes take very seriously.

I'm not an athlete at all, in fact, I had never done an activity of this type, but my cousin invited me to go with her and her friend.

They promised me that the tour was worth it since from above you could see the best views of Caracas and they were right. In this video I share all my experience, I have to be honest: it was not easy for me, I was very tired, but despite that it was a pleasant and fun time.
