Party time in Sydney City : March 2 2024

Another different day going. We are heading into the city for a friend's 60th birthday. We will stay overnight in a hotel close to the venue.

Wake to a rainy day. No point in wandering around the city in the rain - so we headed out later than the original plan. That gave me to work on the latest affiliate marketing program I am working on - more later

When we got to the city there was a Royal Caribbean cruise ship parked in Circular Quay. Checked in - went down for happy hour drinks and heard the ship's horn. Rushed out for photos as the ship left

Ovation of the Seas clears the Opera House

Party being held in the Chapel of the Rawson - a facility set up for seafarers. Interesting venue - never noticed it before. Venue was super hot. Food was a bit scarce especially for anyone with food challenges. Slowed the booze to manage that

Did spend a lot of time on the fire escape balcony - outside with a view of the city from Curcular Quay

Party wrapped up a little before midnight. We were starving. Found a place advertised as Pancakes - they had a.muchnwider menu and we could choose stuff we wanted to eat. Late walk back to hotel along the streets being set up for markets tomorrow. Nice night out.
