PRIMERA LIGA DE AJEDREZ CHESS BROTHERS: Reportaje y análisis del tercer torneo y nueva convocatoria 💪♟

¡La fiebre de las 64 casillas continúa! Una vez más los héroes del tablero protagonizaron la acción vivida en el 3er Torneo de la Liga de Ajedrez Chess Brothers LACB. Como veníamos comentando en el post de la semana pasada, nuestra audiencia ha ido en constante crecimiento y esta 3ra válida no fue una excepción. Con 30 jugadores participando, se logró alcanzar una cifra meta en lo que va de liga, un número del cual nos sentimos bastante orgullosos, pues se empieza a materializar el trabajo que se ha venido haciendo desde los inicios del proyecto. Nuestra meta es seguir aumentando la población ajedrecística y estamos seguros que gracias a toda la colaborador de nuestra comunidad los objetivos serán cumplidos.

En cuanto a los resultados competitivos, el torneo de este domingo 26 de septiembre fue nuevamente conquistado por el vietnamita blackswan21 (también conocido como @tungphong en Hive), quien por 3era vez consecutiva logra ubicarse en la cúspide del torneo de manera invicta, cristalizando 6 unidades. Con 30 puntos ya se convierte en el virtual ganador de esta primera liga. ¡Felicidades!

En la segunda posición se ubicó el jugador de Colombia CALTchess con 6 unidades. Comparte el olimpo con el primer jugador, pero por desempate se ubica en la 2da posición.

En el bronce, zavalaorlan (también conocido como @orlanzavala en Hive), quien debutó en la LACB con un performance que refleja su nivel de juego, permitiéndole así estar entre los mejores jugadores de la liga.

Actualización 29/09/2021: El anterior post ya expiró y con él se reclamaron 12,093 Hive líquidos y 2,455 HBD líquidos, los cuales fueron repartidos en partes iguales a los cinco primeros ganadores como se muestra a continuación:

Recordemos que estas operaciones son transparentes, por lo que puedes consultarlas en la blockchain. También recordemos que los ganadores de la temporada también recibirán un premio adicional.

El torneo y sus partidas

Pasemos revista ahora a un par de partidas del torneo que resultaron entretenidas e instructivas a nuestros ojos y el de los espectadores. Comencemos con la siguiente posición, extraída de la partida entre @orlanzavala y @tony1294 durante la ronda 4:

Tras una lucha súper aguerrida desde las primeras jugadas que desembocó en aguas turbulentas en los instantes finales de la partida, alcanzamos esta posición de muy pronunciado desequilibrio material: Las blancas tienen torre de más, pero las negras poseen unos fuertes peones sanos que se acercan peligrosamente a la meta y se auxilian de su rey. Las blancas por su parte, con su rey tan alejado de la zona de promoción y tan expuesto, no parecieran que la tendrían fácil.

Sin embargo, tras el error definitivo 62... Dc3+??, el segundo jugador sentenció su propio destino, ya que aunque en primera instancia parecía que iba a recuperar la torre con el ataque doble, resulta que el primer jugador realiza 63. Dc5+!, la intermedia que frena toda esperanza de las piezas negras. Tras la simplificación 63... Dxc5+ 64. Rxc5 parece que las negras pudieran generar serio contrajuego con sus peones, pero las blancas lo impidieron de plano y materializaron el punto con una técnica muy precisa. Siguió 64... f3 65. Rd4 Rf4 66. Tb6 g5 67. Tf6 Rg3 68. Re3 y las blancas controlaron todo.

Otra posición que esconde algo de interés fue la siguiente, producida en la partida entre madykrise y @rodrook:

Esta fue una contienda con giros tácticos desenfrenados en la que el jugador de las piezas negras consolidó ventaja decisiva. En el diagrama vemos una curiosa manera de como pudo haber continuado el juego, aún cuando las negras tienen varias formas de ganar. Sin embargo, una solución bastante elegante hubiese sido hacer 31... Tc4! atrapando así al rey blanco con amenazas de mate en pocas jugadas. Por ejemplo, si 32. a3, la fina contestación 32... Ab1! dejaría sin oxígeno al monarca de las blancas, quien aún pierde la vida al intentar 33. a4, pues 33... Ac2+ seguido de Txa4 sería jaque mate.

Convocatoria y condiciones técnicas de la Liga 1 - torneo 4 (Final de temporada)

Se realizará en Lichess.org.
Fecha y hora domingo 03 de Octubre a las 19 GMT (3pm hora Venezuela).
Modalidad de torneo suizo (debes unirte al equipo de Chess Brothers en Lichess.org).
Se jugará a 7 rondas a un ritmo de juego blitz 3+2 (tres minutos más dos segundos de incremento para toda la partida).
Los primeros 8 puestos de cada torneo acumulan 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 puntos respectivamente.
El sistema de desempate para el torneo será el que determine Lichess.
Se premiará a los primeros cinco lugares del torneo con las recompensas líquidas que reúna este post, repartidas en parte iguales. Los usuarios deben poseer cuenta en Hive y en caso de que no estén entre los jugadores confirmados o conocidos (ver más abajo, por ejemplo), entonces deberán comunicar sus cuentas de Hive y Lichess en los comentarios de este post antes de jugar el torneo.

FIRST CHESS BROTHERS LEAGUE: Report and Analysis of the Third Tournament and New Invitation 💪♟

The 64-square fever continues! Once again the heroes of the board starred the action in the 3rd Tournament of the First Chess Brothers League. As we commented in last week's post, our participants have been growing steadily and this 3rd round was no exception. With 30 players participating, we managed to reach a target number so far in the league, a number of which we are quite proud, as it begins to materialize the work that has been done since the beginning of the project. Our goal is to continue increasing the chess population and we are sure that thanks to all the collaborators of our community, the objectives will be achieved.

As for the competitive results, the tournament of this Sunday, September 26th was once again conquered by the Vietnamese blackswan21 (AKA @tungphong on Hive), who for the 3rd consecutive time manages to place himself at the top of the tournament undefeated, accumulating 6 units. With 30 points he is the virtual winner of this first league, congratulations!

In the second position was the player from Colombia CALTchess with 6 units. He shares the olympus with the first player, but by tiebreaker he is placed in 2nd position.

In bronze, zavalaorlan (AKA @orlanzavala on Hive), who debuted in the league with a performance that reflects his level of play, allowing him to be among the best players in the league.

Update 09/29/2021: The previous post has now expired and with it 12.093 liquid Hive and 2.455 liquid HBD were claimed, which were distributed equally to the top five winners as shown below:

The Tournament and Its Games

Let's now review a couple of games from the tournament that were entertaining and instructive to our eyes and that of the spectators. Let's start with the following position, taken from the game between @orlanzavala and @tony1294 during round 4:

After a super fierce fight from the first moves that led to troubled waters in the final moments of the game, we reached this position of very pronounced material imbalance: white has an extra rook, but black has some strong healthy pawns that are dangerously close to the goal and are helped by his king. White, for his part, with his king so far away from the promotion zone and so exposed, did not seem to have it easy.

However, after the final mistake 62... Qc3+?, the second player sentenced his own fate, since although in the first instance it seemed that he was going to recover the rook with the double attack, it turns out that the first player does 63. Qc5+!, the intermediate move that stops all hope for the black pieces. After the simplification 63.... Qxc5+ 64. Kxc5 it seems that black could generate serious counterplay with his pawns, but white flatly prevented it and materialized the point with a very precise technique. It followed 64... Kd4 Kf4 66. Rb6 g5 67. Rf6 Kg3 68. Ke3 and white controlled everything.

Another position that hides some interest was the following, produced in the game between madykrise and @rodrook:

This was a contest with wild tactical twists and turns in which the player with the black pieces consolidated a decisive advantage. In the diagram we see a curious way the game could have continued, even though black has several ways to win. However, a rather elegant solution would have been to make 31... Rc4! thus trapping the white king with mate threats in a few moves. For example, if 32. a3, the fine reply 32... Bb1! would starve white's monarch of oxygen, who still loses his life by trying 33. a4, since 33... Bc2+ followed by Rxa4 would be checkmate.

Invitation and Rules of the First Chess Brothers League - Tournament 4

It will take place at Lichess.org.
Date and time Sunday, October 03rd at 19 GMT (3pm Venezuelan time).
Swiss tournament (you must join the Chess Brothers team at Lichess.org).
7 rounds with time control blitz 3+2 (three minutes plus two seconds increment for the whole game).
The first 8 places in each tournament will accumulate 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points respectively.
The tie-breaking system for the tournament will be as determined by Lichess.
The first five places of the tournament will be awarded with the liquid rewards collected in this post, allocated in equal parts. Users must have a Hive account and in case they are not among the confirmed or known players (see below, for example), then they must let us know their Hive and Lichess accounts in the comments of this post before playing the tournament.

Sí, he notado que eso pasa con el sistema de notificaciones incorporado. Solo hay que dejar claro que eso no es hacer spam. Por lo general, el spam es algo indeseado, de offtopic, pero también tiende a asociarse aquí en Hive con algo malicioso (los antiguos SteemCleaners consideraban al plagio como un caso spam y supongo que HiveWatchers también). No suele provenir de usuarios serios o comunidades serias. La lista de usuarios que aquí aparece es precisamente porque el contenido del post es interés potencial de los usuarios al juzgar por los antecedentes de donde se tomó.

Por otra parte, editar un post es una operación natural y muchas veces necesaria. Pienso que es más bien un defecto del sistema que se tenga que notificar al usuario arroba-mencionado cada vez que se edite el post, pero parece ser la solución más económica que se programó porque imagino que otras requerirían más recursos. Originalmente, el que los nombre de usuarios con formato @username se comporten como hipervínculos era y sigue siendo realmente un asunto del frontend, de las aplicaciones que leen el cuerpo del post de la blockchain. La funcionalidad de notificaciones es relativamente nueva y los desarrolladores debieron haber tomado en cuenta esto si es que algunos argumentan que puede tratarse de una especie de exploit. De hecho, resulta que sí añadieron al respecto, aunque lo veo como algo que más bien diversifica la experiencia de usuario.
