Trying out Actifit! Will I post more often?

I've been wanting to get back on Hive more regularly and sh as re my thoughts. But between the content I create for my business and renovating the house and planning our next trip (and my ongoing commitment to heal my body and mind) I just wasn't getting to it.

So, when @new.thinga suggested I try tracking my steps on Actifit, something he's now done for years, I thought, "Why not? Let's give it a go."

This, here I am.

I want these to be decent, standalone posts. Not, "I did 1300 steps today" (which is about how much my phone managed to record). Or "I did over 14,000 steps today (which is what my WATCH managed to record). But rather, a genuine expression of my experience for the day; what I'm thinking, feeling, focused on.

So, that's the plan.

This serves as post number 1. No doubt I'll have more to share tomorrow. But I wanted to start with something easy.

Like a short walk, through the bush, in the light drizzling rain, as captured by Brad in the photo above.

Thanks for reading!

He has felt a deep longing to return to Hive and share his reflections more often. However, life, with its many demands — creating content for his business, renovating his home, planning upcoming trips, and his ongoing commitments to healing his body and mind — has made time a scarce and precious resource.

Like that brief walk through the woods, under a light drizzle, as captured by Brad in the photo, each step has become an opportunity to connect with the world around her and to appreciate the beauty of everyday life. On this journey, she sought not only to record her steps, but also the experiences and emotions that accompany each one.
