Both Anderlecht and AA Gent lost away with a 1-0 score which leaves everything open for the return matches today at home even though it won't be easy. These are my thoughts on both games along with some bets I took...

Anderlecht vs Ludogorets

Anderlecht was too naive early in the match which cost them the match as Ludogorets managed to score early. After that Anderlecht pretty much always played on their half despite not creating many chances. They should be the better team but their coach already stated that they won't go kamikaze from the start so I'm fully expecting a match where Anderlecht puts the priority on defense trying to go forward with not enough risk to pose many problems to Ludogorets. Anderlecht also has improved a lot on the defensive end despite taking 2 goals over the weekend match. Based on this early match expectation, I took a 0.7 unit bet on 1st Half Under 1 @ 1.917. Initially took a smaller position size at 1.84 odds and increased as it went up to a point where I'm probably a bit overexposed so I will look to set at least part of the stake safe along the way if possible. I also took a 50$ Crypto bet on 1st Half Under 1 @ 1.960 over at Rollbit.com which also is available on Sportbet.one and Betfury.io.

AA Gent vs Qarabag

AA Gent played a good entertaining 1st half away in Qarabag that ended in a 0-0 but Qarabag showed to be the better team, in the end, winning with a 1-0 score. The objective of AA Gent was to get in a position where the home match was saved which meant a draw or a 1-goal loss. The fact remains that AA Gent has a way higher budget (67% vs 14M) but at the same time this didn't stop Qarabag from winning away with 0-3 against Olympiakos (104M). Only half of the Stadion will be filled and AA Gent still suffers many injured players that are important while they are scraping to get enough players on the bench. They do have nothing to lose today and I don't expect any kind of stress for them just going for it from the start. I don't think it will be easy however for AA Gent based on the match last week and the situation they are in. I cautiously got 0.1 unit in on each of these 3 bets: 0.1 unit on Qarabag +0.5 @ 1.977, 0.1 unit on Qarabag Team Total Over 0.5 @ 1.635, 0.1 unit on Over 2.25 @ 1.930 with an eye to possibly take more in-game.
