It was a pretty good Saturday making close to 1 unit profit and for the first time this season I really feel like I'm in the driver seat again and I potentially could start increasing my stakes again. I'll do it slowly though on the 4 matches today.

Union vs Liverpool

Liverpool with 12 points in the group are sure of the 1st place and are coming with a B-Squad to Union who still need points to be sure of at least the 3rd spot. Union continues to be hot in the league putting up excellent performances and being deadly efficient. Union turned from a 3.7 opening odds to now under 2.0 on the -0.25 line which makes sense as it won't be easy for Liverpool today against and Union who always bring a lot of energy. A bit similar how Antwerp managed to win for Barcelona yesterday. There however still is a lot of quality for Liverpool and all players who want to show themselves. No Pre-Game Bets

Genk vs Cukaricki

Genk needs a win today and preferablt with as many goals difference if they want to still have a chance at 2nd place. Ferenvaros at home also needs to lose against Fiorentina so it remains a long shot for Genk. Cukaricki is last in the standings with 0 points and 14 goals against while having scored 2. Basically, I would say Genk has everything to win and not much to lose as there is only a 66% chance for the win not to matter. Cukaricki lost their waway matches with 6-0 and 3-1 so at least this should be a -2 line. Genk is without Munoz but should have enough quality to do well today. I did take a cautious initial 0.15 unit bet on Genk 1st Half -1 @ 2.050

Club Brugge vs Bodo/Glimt

Club Brugge had some matches where they impressed but this was followed by a rather poor match over the weekend with a draw against a poor Mechelen. This should have been a win but that doesn't take away that it wasn't good enough. Especially the line-up calls from the coach leaving Nusa & Olson on the bench long were strange as they are way more dangerous with them. Club Brugge is 1st in the group 3 points above Bodo/Glimt who are sure of a 2nd place and still can come in 1st in case they win by 2 goals difference. So this should be an overish match at some points as the underdog needs to score a couple. My eye will be on the over but I'm not yet willing to take a 3.25 line at the moment especially since Club Brugge has been in a long clean sheet streak. For now, No Pre-Game Bets

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs AA Gent

AA Gent and Maccabi both are sure to progress and AA Gent needs at least a draw to go straight to the 1/8 finals giving them some rest in an already too busy schedule. They do have an important match upcoming over the weekend against Club Brugge and it remains to be seen how many players will be rested. The gap in player value 80M Gent and 16M Maccabi remains quite big so it makes sense for AA Gent to be a -0.25 favorite. The home team if it remains a draw will need to take risks so the over at some point might become an option. Also here for now No Pre-Game Bets
