These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...

The playoffs start today and I'm looking forward to the last batch of matches for the season. Last year I managed to have excellent results in the playoffs having a total of 115 bets with +17.54% ROI.

There is no guarantee whatsoever that this season will be the same as traditionally I would say playoffs haven't been my strong side. I'm still highly motivated and have no signs of 'football fatigue' though. I did increase my stakes by +25% since my bankroll more than can handle it but the units themselves won't change really change.

RWDM vs Seraing

This is the playdown match between the 2nd last in the 1st league and the runner up of the 2nd league. There is pretty much not much I'm able to do in this match as I never saw RWDM play and have no clue how to estimate them. Traditionally, 2nd division teams come in with a mindset of having nothing to lose and they tend to be able to put up good performances. In that regard, the +0 @ 1.90 line on RWDM tempted me during the week. I skipped and the odds dropped to 1.675 so I'm not going to get involved for now. I will pretty much watch the match live and see what it brings. No Pre-Game Bets

KV Mechelen vs Charleroi

Both are deserved in playoff 2 and they are close in standings with AA Gent Leading (31 points) | Charleroi 2nd (27 Points) | Genk 3rd (27 Points) | Mechelen 4th (26 Points). I do rank Mechelen slightly higher than Charleroi in what they are capable of and there is the home advantage. Playoff 2 historically has seen many matches with crazy high scorelines 11 out of 12 matches last season had at least 3 goals in them and 7 of those went to 4 and more. Mechelen has beaten their home over line during the regular season by +13.59% while Charleroi has beaten their away over lines by +56.09% going 12.5W-3L. Teams tend to play these playoffs with nothing to lose and I expect a similar scenario this season. I took initial bets on Over 2.75 @ 1.887 (0.2 units), Over 3 @ 2.152 (0.1 unit), Over 3.5 @ 2.703 (0.037 units) and I might increase on those in-game. I also took a 0.4 unit bet on Mechelen 1st Half +0 @ 1.821. They tend to have good 1st halves and are unbeaten in them in their last 8 home matches. Mechelen on 1st half corners is also an option.
