Jupiler League Playoffs Week 6 Saturday Previews

These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...

This is the final week of the playoffs and in the remaining 4 matches there is nothing left to play for wich more often turns out in fun open matches with plenty of goals.

AA Gent vs Charleroi

So AA Gent had nothing really to play for since the start of the playoffs since they already had their European ticket. This didn't stop them from wanting to win their games and play with good focus taking the first spot in the group since last week. They have even less to play for today but I don't see this stopping them from continuing their good streak and it looks like they will be able to field their best available players. Goalkeeper Roef who has played excellent is injured, along with Depoitre, Hjulsager who were already out in the past week and also De Sart, Bezus, Lemajic. So they certainly are not at 100% and any substitution made which will most likely happen near the end of the match should weaken the team. Charleroi played a fun open match against Mechelen last week winning with 3-2 in the end and I'm expecting a similar approach this week. Their last 4 matches all went to at least 4 goals. The over line has gotten hit already by now and I'm not planning to chase it pre-game. My main eye will be on the over for potential live bets though and I'm liking AA Gent to win even though I don't fully trust their bench. depending on the starting line-up, I might take them to win the first half. For now, No Pre-Game Bets

Kv Mechelen vs Racing Genk

Mechelen lost their last 4 games in these playoffs but haven't actually been that bad. This will be the last match for their coach and their last home match of the season against Genk who overall just didn't play a good season. They lost against Gent last week but they did go 3W-1D in their 4 matches before both scoring quite easily but also getting goals against. This is expected to turn out in an open match with chances on both sides and the total line is totally adjusted at 3.75 now. I do expect motivation for Mechelen to be higher as they play at home but this also might leave them somewhat vulnerable on the counters if they move forward. The odds are with the risk for a small bet and I took 0.15 units on Kv Mechelen +0.5 @ 2.002 and 0.1 unit on KV Mechelen 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.869. I will keep an eye out for a potential over bet also and Mechelen + corners handicap is also on my radar.

They are played to determine the European Tickets. Now by week 6 everything is pretty much locked in and teams don't really play for anything anymore.

Crypto bets in total this season actually produced a good +14.45% overall ROI. Check Post

It is mostly because of 1 bigger position I took though which was one of the few times this season there was crazy value. Long-term I'm quite confident for the predictions the make profit, short term pretty much anything can happen. The main reason I'm making the previews is because it keep me sharp.
