Saturday was a very good warm-up making 1 unit profit which in case both bigger positions nog on Sunday somehow end up losing puts me on just a limited loss for the week. I do fully anticipate today to be a great betting that but based on experience from the past, these days are often the ones where I get hit the hardest. Regardless, I'm highly looking forward to how things will play out. Here are the previews that include some early bets I shared in the SBC Discord
Standard vs Antwerp
Antwerp is 1st in the league with 10 wins and 1 loss not yet having played a bad match even in the 2-1 loss against Kortrijk. They also have been the best defense and have been very reliable in that regard while they have quality on the bench and no fatigue issues as they are not playing in Europe. If anything can be said it's that they have a very high scoring percentage and don't really push for bigger leads rather just making sure they keep the lead which at some point will cost them. Standard this season has been all mentality while clearly showing signs in lacking quality most matches. The reasons they managed to win their home match a couple of weeks ago against Club Brugge was the furious home support which I guess Club Brugge underestimated along with the mid-week match Brugge played. Antwerp will come to Standard knowing the fans will be furious and with no fatigue and focus on this match which is why I believe in the end quality will prevail in this one especially against a Draw No Bet Line. I took bets of 0.544 units on
Antwerp 1H +0 @ 1.825 and 0.544 units on
Antwerp +0 @ 1.785. Standard Team total under and Antwerp Team Total over are also options and I took a 0.003 BTC crypto bet on Antwerp +0 @ 1.740 over at

AA Gent vs Kv Mechelen
AA Gent right now is a hard team to get a grip on as one day they easily win with a 4-0 score showing solid defense, while on other days they are nowhere and lose with an equally big score. Mechelen this season just has not been good enough and are nowhere near where they were last year. This generally has gotten them overrated on the market and they so far went 4W-7L against the asian handicap. The only real option for me is to bet on AA Gent when it comes to the sides but I need to see more before pulling the trigger. Both teams have generally seen goals in their matches as they have had a hard time keeping clean sheets and in the case of AA Gent also are able to score a bunch of goals once they get going. This made me take 2 initial bets of 0.1 unit each on
Over 2.75 @ 1.983 and
Both To Score @ 1.831. I do see a match where both have the intention to go forward and score.
Anderlecht vs Club Brugge
For me it's fairly easy in that match in that I extimate the chance way bigger for Club Brugge to be the better team giving them a higher chance to win the game compared to Anderlecht. I was shocked to see them opening with odds that were fairly equal and which even turned them into the underdog. I didn't hesitate to take 0.544 units on
Club Brugge +0 @ 1.980 and a bit later 0.556 units on
Club Brugge +0.25 @ 1.830. I added smaller extra bets also on
Club Brugge -1 @ 4.097 (0.1 unit),
Club Brugge 1H +0 @ 1.980, &
Club Brugge 1H -0.5 @ 3.183 (0.1 unit) which puts the total pre-game risk at 1.4 units leaving me some room for extra live bets. The reasons I see for the odds being totally wrong is the fact that Anderlecht has been somewhat of a black horse for Club Brugge these past years, however this was at a time when Kompany was the coach and they had Gomez, Cullen, Kouamé; Zirkzee,... Right now they are a different team with a different coach and so far things just haven't clicked yet. Club Brugge also lost away to Standard which in a way can be compared to this match, This came after an European match with standard despite lower quality being in a winning streak with the fans loud behind them. Club Brugge for sure will have learned from this while they should have far less fatigue since they had a day extra rest coming off another solid performance while they also have a wider bench which has been used this past month. Anderlecht always plays with the 'best' players they have available, had a day less rest and come off a very bad performance away against West Ham which doesn't really help for their confidence. So all this combined makes me put Club Brugge as a -0.5 farvorite at around 2.10-2.15 as representative odds. The match however still needs to be played and it wouldn't be the first time for a game like this to end in a surprising result but I'm willing to take the loss in that scenario.

Oostende vs Union
Oostende right now is 14th place which I guess is around where they deserve to be as they are better that teams like Eupen, Seraing, Zulte-Waregem, Kortrijk but not as good as teams like Cercle & Stvv. They already played some good matches but often failed to capitalize on them. Union without a doubt is the better team but it remains the question how long they are going to be able to keep things up as they bring high intensity in their matches while they need to always start with their A-Squad not to lose a lot of quality. They are coming of another European match where they did well. Basically, I'm not willing to back Union as the 1.7 odds favorite in a match like this while I also haven't gotten enough conviction in Oostende to take a stab at them. This leaves me with a potential bet on the total or the corners. Union has been an overish team and they rarely are able to keep clean sheets anymore. They are 6.5W-2L-2.5P on their over line this season while Oostende who used to be an over home team and under away team now is just 1.5W-2.5L-1P on the Over. The only stat that stands out is that Oostende has 66.7% of their goals at home in the 1st half while Union had 57.1% of their away goals in the 1st half. So I will likely look at an early bet on 1H Over 1 @ 1.8+ odds. Oostende has yet to win a home corner matchup while Union covered a -1 handicap away 50% of the time. So for now, I'm just going to stick to
