Good start of the year with a +0.328 units profit on the one cup match going into the weekend. 2 cup matches got postponed due to snow and will be played on Wednesday and Thursday. One match tonight between AA Gent and Mechelen.

AA Gent vs Kv Mechelen

AA Gent played in the cup during the mid-week losing with a 0-1 score against a poor Club Brugge which easily could have been a draw. They do miss a ton of players and on top of Watanabe (unreplaceable), Tissoudali, Hong, Fofana (who was transferred), now also Orban was transferred. Yokota is new and will replace Fofana but it remains to be seen how good he is and how well he adjusts. Torunarigha is also questionable. Overall their A-Squad currently is still ok but all options from the bench are youngsters. Kv Mechelen has become a team under Hasi who mainly focus on defense. They will be without Konaté who was somewhat important for them in the midfield. Bassette is also injured. They are a team currently lacking offensive scoring power but are capable of parking the bus which I expect today as the most likely scenario. So likely ball will be given to AA Gent with the idea of Mechelen to get something done on the counter. The first goal will be the most difficult one and due to the missings from AA Gent, I have a hard time to be willing to back them without some strong confirmation. Similar to likely many matches this weekend, I will wait things out and see how it goes before potentially getting in. No Pre-Game Bets
