Saturday was another excellent day being spot on for at least 2 of the 3 matches and I really feel that I'm fully back in my usual form. I aim to continue this on Sunday where 4 games will be played...
Sint-Truiden vs Genk
Stvv continues to be a good team and they have been in a better form again lately. Last week they deserved a lot more away against Union and the week before they were better away against Standard. Their results however mostly come in away games where they are 6W-2L-3P against the asian handicap. At home they are neutral despite the artificial pitch advantage. They have been so good that many of their players are on the verge of making a transfer. Smets, Delorge, Hashioka. They will play today but it remains a factor how far this plays in their heads at the moment. They also are without Koita still and goalkeeper Suzuki. Genk last week played with some key missings (El Khannouss, Paintsil, Fadera,..) which showed too much against Cercle. Today some of them are back but it remains to be seen if they are fully fit to play. They are also without Munoz who is important and was transfered. My lean mostly is on Stvv +0.5 for sure in thie derby as they rarely lose at home and the draw is covered. However, the missings & players who might be with their head in a transfer is keeping me back. The last 10 matches on average had 3.2 goals between these teams with 4 on average in Stvv. However, Genk tends to be more under away and Stvv more under at home. I am going in with a lean on the Over mostly because the line is set quite low.

Eupen vs Antwerp
Eupen has fallen all the way back after a great start of the season and are now 3rd last. They are coming of a very important 0-1 win over Rivel RWDM last weekend but overall they do seem to just lack quality. At home they are also an overish team going 7W-2.5L-0.5P against the total line. Against top teams they lost 1-3 (to Genk in week 17), 1-3 against Anderlecht in Week 9, and 0-5 (against Club Brugge in week 3). So they haven't exactly got a good record in these matches. Antwerp tends to be a team that mostly shines at home and they are a team with way more goals compared to last season. They did lose some key players recently with most importantly Vermeeren and didn't play their best cup match without him in OHL during the mid-week. Coulibaly is also injured along with Balikwisha. Their replacements however are good enough and Ejuke seems to be in a great form. The quality difference in this match should be too big though a bit similar to Club Brugge yesterday. The main difference is that Antwerp currently as a team aren't in the best form while they tend to be better at home. I only took 0.2 units on
Antwerp 1H -0.5 @ 2.064 with an eye to potentially increase this in-game.
Anderlecht vs Union
These played in the cup during the mid-week in Union and the big talk is how Anderlecht is on a huge 8-game losing streak against this team. Union won that match despite playing with 10 vs 11 so there is a lot of pressure today on Anderlecht. Puertas is still injured for Union while Machida and Lazare are gone on interlands. Amoura should be back though. Anderlecht is 7.5W-1L-1.5P at home and Union is 5.5W-2L-2.5P away from home. My lean would be on Anderlecht as the home underdog but Union remains a team I just don't want to oppose and the pressure of being humiliated again for Anderlecht will be quite big. I think the smartest move for me is to just stay away.

Mechelen vs RWDM
Mechelen under their new coach has become a way more defensive team aiming to just get results as it's needed against the relegation fight. They came away with a 1-2 win last week against Gent on a performance that wasn't that great. The week before they lost to Charleroi with a poor performance. in their last home match they took a lucky win against Standard in what was an underish match. So overall I can't say I haven't been that impressed by the new Mechelen even though they did manage to take the points. RWDM at times this season showed good things but they seem to have lost their way a bit with now 3 losses in a row and some crazy fans revolting. Their most remarkable statistic away from home is that they are 88-19 on corners against them losing each with at least 3. Mechelen simply isn't good enough for me to consider backing them at a -0.75 handicap while I don't trust RWDM at the moment to take the gamble.
