Sint-Truiden vs AA Gent

AA Gent is still missing players which has gotten them in somewhat of a losing streak. Not having Watanabe in defense clearly makes it weaker and they got 2 goals against in each of the matches so far without him. On the offensive end they still manage to score but they are missing Tissoudali, Hong, Fofana, and in a lesser way Orban. Cuypers on top also got in a weaker form and has his head with a possible transfer. Their bench is also full of youngsters and some new players need to be implemented. Yet they are still a -0.5 favorite away against Stvv who can be seen as one of the revelations this season at least when it comes down to the play they bring on the pitch. They are 9th with 28 points which is 7 clear of a relegation spot and 8 away from a playoff spot. They are coming off 3 matches without a win against Genk, Union, & Standard still putting up reasonable performances despite missing Koita in the last 2 who will be back today. Despite the advantage they should have from the artificial pitch, they tend to do better away from home even though on both they managed to beat their asian handicaps so far. Hashioka was transferred out of Stvv but Smets who could have gone to Gent opted to stay which says a lot. Delorge is also still with Stvv and koita will be back. The most logical bet for me was 0.3 units on Stvv +0.5 @ 1.848

Kv Mechelen vs Anderlecht

So Mechelen under their new coach turned into a team that plays more defensive. This came with quality of play which hasn't really been better but the results are 5W-2L-0P against asian handicap taking 10 on 21 which has gotten them in a safe spot. Their record on the total since the new coach was pretty neutral going 3.5W-3L on the over against the closing asian line. Anderlecht is in somewhat of a tricky place where they do have the quality in the team without fully convincing yet but still playing ok and having things go their way in terms of ref call. They do have some missings with Sardella, Augustinson, Delaney and mostly Patris so far showed to be too weak. This season they are 15.5W-5L-1.5P against the asian handicaps indicating that the market still sees them too much as the sub-top team they were on the previous seasons. My only real option is to bet Anderlecht even though this kind of away matches can be tricky. Mechelen for sure will be fired up to bring a good performance even though I doubt they have enough quality to do so. I took very cautious pre-game bets already of 0.1 unit on Anderlecht 1H +0 @ 1.704, 0.1 unit on Anderlecht -0.25 @ 1.950. I'm not quite sure if Mechelen will play as defensive as they did back when they faced Club Brugge at home as that was a time they desperately needed points. Now that they are in a safe zone they might be more willing to play. This should show early on the match and I will wait for that to hopefully be able to maybe catch and over 2.25 bet.
