Very Frustrating Friday as I feel for most bets I was on the right side and especially 1 corner for Club Brugge 2 minutes after extra time was over screwed me turning a nice winner into a loser. So The weekend started with a -0.4 unit loss overall which by no means is a disaster and there are 6 more matches to be played. Only 2 of them today...

Westerlo vs AA Gent

Westerlo has been quietly impressive this season being in 7th while only slightly profitable against the Asian handicaps mainly at home so it's not that they have been crazy underrated on the market. At home, they tend to play more adventurous resulting in an 8W-3L-1P record on the over line. AA Gent on the other hand continues to be in a place where it's just not good enough as they still suffer from key players that are injured (Odidja, Tissoudali, Samoise, Nurio, Hjulsager). They also have been overrated on the market showing a negative record against the Asian Handicap bot home and away. Last week, they played an ok match against Genk but still ended up losing. Westerlo didn't get further than a 1-1 draw away against Eupen. On paper, this match should be entertaining and that is also what AA Gent coach expects. Both however did lose some scoring power so I am keeping my stakes low with an eye to get in more during the game. Both teams were rather high on Shots on Target in the previous 3 matches at 6.3 and 5. I took 0.14 units on Over 2.5 @ 2.068 and also 0.104 units on Over 2.25 @ 1.800. Both teams are rather high on 2H goals also. I'm also liking Westerlo but need 1.8+ odds on the +0.25 line. Westerlo Team Total Over is also an option.

Charleroi vs Seraing

Seraing somehow isn't dead yet while they clearly are the worst team in the league and they are missing their best player. Somehow they always manage to score especially away from home and they took their first home win last week against OHL which was a flattering Result. Charleroi started well under their new/old coach Mazzu but things seem to have reverted back to the mean as they overall lack sheer quality in the team. Their last 4 matches ended in 1 Loss and 3 Draws. This said, they should still be the team with more quality and them as a -1 handicap line favorite makes sense. I'm not quite willing to take the gamble even though taking the favorite is the only real option for me. Expect Seraing to defend with what they got hoping to once again being extremely efficient on the counter chances they might get while Charleroi who has to make the play might have a hard time to actually create chances.
