Pretty straightforward mid-week grinding it out and succeeding to get my average stake up a bit which I aim to continue in the weekend. Once match again this week on Friday and I will only be able to watch until minute 60 or so missing out on the last 30 minutes.

Kv Mechelen vs Racing Genk

Mechelen took a painful loss last week away against Eupen after being 0-1 up for most of the match getting the 1-1 and 2-1 against in minute 86' and 91'. They remain the worst away team in the league and they are just about break-even at home where they do perform a lot better due to their home support and higher energy level. They still have 3 points waiting from them from the forfeit match against Charleroi which puts them in a place where they don't really need to worry about relegation while at the same time, they also don't really play for much more as the overall quality is just lacking. On top, today they will be without Schoofs and Verstraete who are their 2 best players on the midfield and this for sure will have an influence. Genk deserved a lot more than the 0-1 loss last week at home against Antwerp and from the looks of it they did lose a lot of scoring power with Onuachu leaving. There is still a big question mark if Paintsil will play or not and who will start as their striker. Samatta has just shown so far to be not good enough anymore and I do expect Tolu to get his chance. My only real option on this match is to oppose Mechelen as they are without 2 really important players. Mechelen also hasn't yet faced a top team since Defour became their coach. Based on everything, I was willing to take an initial 0.15 unit bet on Genk -0.5 @ 1.918 and I will see if I can take more in-game. The over in corners is also an option as Mechelen tends to go over at home while Genk has gone over in 6 of their last 7.
