It was actually a really dull Saturday with very uninteresting matches and little betting action that ended in just a 0.065 unit profit. Sunday should be better as all the top teams play but at the same time I'm not seeing much on the betting market that I would take with confidence. So most betting action likely will be in-game again.

Club Brugge vs Anderlecht

Purely on overall quality, I see Club Brugge as the better team and I still have a hard time to see Anderlecht as a real title contender even though they always manage to take the points. Unlike Union though, they always have periods where they play really good mixed with moments where it just shows that they are not good enough. This match is a test for both teams and I guess form of the day will be the most important factor. Based on that it could go both ways which makes Club Brugge -0.75 not an option to bet for me. It's one of those matches where I literally have no clue and where it's better just to wait and see how things play out in-game before potentially taking something. No Pre-Game Bets

AA Gent vs Antwerp

This are 2 teams who are kind of in the same boat of having lost players with right now the overall quality of the play being lower compared to what it used to be. AA Gent did play a mid-week match where they failed to win against a weak Maccabi Haifa in a 1-1 draw which got them eliminated. This will be their 5th match in 2 weeks while for Antwerp it will be the 3rd match in 2 weeks so the freshness should be with Antwerp. Both are fighting for Playoff 1 with Antwerp 2 points clear of AA Gent coming off 1 loss (against Mechelen) and 3 wins while AA Gent is coming off 1 Win (against Eupen) and 3 losses. I think a draw for both teams might not be a bad result and based on the recent form and potential fatigue I took just 0.2 units on Antwerp +0.25 @ 1.930

Union vs Standard

Union just continues to be a force as they managed to qualify in the conference league in an impressive way against Frankfurt. One of the questions today is how fresh they will be or how much rotation there will be. Standard is still fighting against the playdowns with 4 more matches to play of which 3 against good teams where they probably need 1 win. Their main problem recently has been scoring goals while their overall play hasn't been as bad as results indicate. It remains a team where it's hard to have confidence in though. If both teams put up similar performances compared to the previous weeks, Union -1.25 would be the bet to take. However, the possible fatigue/rotation keeps me away from it along with that I have had a terrible read on when to back or oppose Union. Seeing the final line-up and how Union present themselves is key in order for me to take something. No Pre-Game Bets

Eupen vs Cercle Brugge

Eupen is 2nd last and they are coming off 4 losses in a row. They are 5 points below a safe spot and at this point, it feels kind of hopeless for them to still make it also because their quality just hasn't been good enough even though at the same time they aren't giving away crazy xg numbers against them, unlike RWDM. Cercle Brugge is in the fight for playoff 1 with a play style that only they can play which results in the least minutes of actual play in the league as they often make many mistakes also kicking the ball forward all the time. This always results in matches that are a torture to watch but they do manage to make it work. Over the season they are 15.5W-5.5L-5P on the under which makes me always look at a potential under bet. I stay cautious though just placing 0.2 units on Under 2.75 @ 1.940
