Pretty good betting results in the Conference League yesterday making close to 0.35 units of profit going into week 29 of the league which a lot left to play for going into the playoffs. One important match for both Mechelen and Westerlo today.

Kv Mechelen vs Westerlo

Mechelen is the team in form at the moment working their way up to the point now where they have a real chance of making playoff 1. To get there, however, they will have to take wins against Westerlo today and OHL next week which is an achievable goal. At the same time this might introduce some pressure. They will be without Antonio and Konaté today. One thing is at least clear in that only a win for them will be enough. They have a coach who starts from a strong defense but at the same time they do manage to create their chances. Westerlo right now is 3 points clear of a playdown spot with Charleroi still behind them. They played a good match last week but due to a good Charleroi goalkeeper and a bad ref, they ended up with a 0-1 loss and a 0 on 6 which puts them with some pressure again. A Draw for them would almost certainly get them saved even this week but they don't have the team to play all defense trying to take home a draw. Their last away match against stvv was also quite weak losing that with 1-0 and the pressure in the last 2 matches have gotten to them. Westerlo has a 65.9% 2H away goal ratio and Mechelen a 66.7% home 2H ratio. It's a match where there is no scoreline that both teams can be happy which which should create an end to the match where risks are taken. I did take a 0.025 ETH crypto bet on 2nd Half Highest Scoring @ 2.110 over at Dexport.io. I do expect Mechelen to be the team taking all the initiative early on and am leaning toward a 1H Mechelen Corner bet on the handicap. However, I'm staying away for now from that. A 2nd half or late over will be live betting options also.
