It was not the most active Saturday when it came down to betting but I still managed to get +0.34 units profit out of it. I don't expect all too much actions as each of the matches has 1 team that played or is in between European matches which always makes it super tricky and not an option to bet on those teams. Here are my thoughts on all Sunday Matches...
Club Brugge vs Standard
Club Brugge finally sacked their coach and hasn't got a new one which makes De Mil once again temporary take over. While Parker was a big part of the problem in Club Brugge, it's not the only one and the players themselves also just have underperformed like crazy. So the question remains how much of a shock effect there will be and in fatigue will be a factor for this match. Standard played their best match in years against Westerlo last week and their Coach Deila is doing miracles with the quality they have in the team. At the same time, they also have these matches where they are absolutely nowhere and it's always difficult to know which Standard will show up. Club Brugge intrinsically has way more quality, play at home and have a potential shock effect, while Standard is in way better form and should have no fatigue. The only real option for me to bet is Standard + handicap and if the odds go as far as +0.75 @ 1.8+, I might end up taking the gamble. Standard also has shown to be capable of scoring lately both home and away so Standard Team Total Over 1 is also on my radar. For now,

Zulte-Wargem vs AA Gent
Zulte-Waregem is 4 points behind on Kortrijk and Eupen and have Oostende in between them who have 1 point more. Their schedule is pretty difficult with matches left against Gent, Standard, Antwerp, Charleroi, Eupen, & Cercle Brugge. It by no means is impossible but they will start to take actual wins sooner than later. AA Gent played a mid-week match in Europe taking a 1-1 draw using a lot of energy, especially in the 2nd half on an unplayable pitch. Fatigue will for sure be an issue as they have limited options to rotate. They are in the fight for Playoff 1 and I expect both teams today actually play for the win and not settle for a draw. This might not be the case from the start and there would be something of a study round. The first goal should be the hardest and if it comes it might break the match wide open. Zulte-Waregem had somewhat of a collapse against OHL taking 3 goals in the time span of 10-15 minutes at one point. I have split some small bets between 0.1 unit on Over 3.5 @ 3.052 | 0.05 units on AA Gent To Win & Both To Score @ 4.227 | 0.05 units on AA Gent Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.040 and aim to possibly get in some more in-game.
Racing Genk vs Union SG
Racing Genk lately is not playing as impressive and dominant as they used to early this season and they can't be counted on to take easy wins. Their striker Samatta did seem to come alive with 2 goals last week which should give hime some confidence again after clearly lacking before. Union played away against Berlin taking a good 3-3 result with an eye on the return match next Thursday. Teuma is still questionable and fatigue clearly will be against them. My only real option is to back Genk but I'm not really willing to take that gamble at the moment. With Union possibly having heavy legs and Genk yet having to lose a 1st half at home the 1H +0 for sure is tempting. If it reaches 1.8+ I'll get a small bet in on that. for now,

Anderlecht vs Cercle Brugge
This is a direct fight for a playoff 2 spot and Anderlecht pretty much needs the win if they still want to have a chance since they are 4 points behind on Cercle who are 8th. This will be a difficult match for Anderlecht as there is a lot of pressure on them while they are in between European Matches which adds fatigue. They did play a good match against Villarreal and have showed already that they are capable. The last 3 matches in the league however they failed to win so there is no reliability yet. Cercle Brugge has not lost in their last 8 matches taking 3 wins. Anderlecht being a -0.25 favorite at home I guess makes sense and I'm just waiting to see what actually happens in-game before potentially taking something.
