Stvv vs Club Brugge
Stvv has a great season but with nothing really left to play for these past weeks they seemed to lack the needed motivation. Their main issue is to score goals and they now play their last match at home against Club Brugge who still need every point they can get especially after Anderlecht slipped up yesterday. Brugge played a mid-week match at home qualifying against a poor Molde. They do have De Cuyper suspended while Olson got injured and it can't be said that they are in the best form. I do have a small lean on the visitors who should have more motivation and quality but I'm waiting to see if they can reach a good form before potentially getting in.

Antwerp vs Union
These are 2 teams that will play in Playoff 1 where points will be halved. Union played a semi-B-Squad in the Conference league doing well there but generally their form hasn't been as impressive as it used to be. The fatigue is starting to kick in but overall they remain a good side who are hard to oppose. There are also multiple players on the verge of suspension who might be benched. Antwerp had somewhat of a dip but they seem to have picked up their form again in recent matches with deserved wins over Kortrijk and STVV. Generally they have matches where there are chances and goals from the start and Union only had one 1st half away that ended in a 0-0. Antwerp however has Janssen Questionable. Final line-ups and how the match starts are key for me so I'm waiting for now.

Cercle Brugge vs RWDM
Cercle Brugge is in 7th spot just outside of Playoff 1 and only a win will do for them while needing either Genk or Mechelen to slip up. RWDM is sure of a playdown spot and they can use every point they can get for that still. Their main problem has been their defense getting 2.8 goals against on average in the last 5 matches. They now also are in last spot and it's just hard to trust them. Over the course of the season they are 9W-2.5L-2.5P on the over away while Cercle Brugge remains an overall Under team going 17.5W-6.5L-5P on the over. This is more due to the away games compared to the home matches. I do expect very high intensity from Cercle Brugge but at the same time it's a stressy situation. I think the line is set very high on the home team but I doubt if I am willing to put any kind of trust on RWDM. So I'm opting to stay away

AA Gent vs Charleroi
AA Gent fights for Playoff 1 but are probably in the worst position as they need 2 teams to slip up. Charleroi is still in the fight to avoid the playdown with a point being enough. They have played bad pretty much all season long and recently got extremely lucky taking a win away against Westerlo and a draw against Cercle. AA Gent in recent matches has put up decent performances but they still lacked some efficiency both offensively and defensively. I'm fully expecting Charleroi to come for a point having all focus on the defensive end trying to keep their sheets clean. The reference match I see as the away match from Charleroi against Westerlo where they should have lost but this time it will be more difficult against AA Gent. The only bet I'm really looking at is the 1H under 1.25 and if that would get to 1.80+ odds I would likely take some.

Westerlo vs Genk
Westerlo needs a point to be fully sure to avoid the playdowns but most likely even losing would mean they are fine. They aren't in the best form but always can do a bit more in their home games. Genk is in the best spot to reach Playoff 1 with a point clear of 6th place and 2 points clear of 7th and 8th. A draw could be enough if either Mechelen or Cercle fail to win their match. So there shouldn't be too many nerves for these teams. Westerlo is coming off a 3-game losing streak where they only managed to score 1 goal while Genk is with 3 wins and a draw in their last 4. Both these don't really have teams to speculate on a draw but if the Situation for Genk looks good late in the match, I'm sure that they both will settle for a draw. In theory these teams against each other should make for an entertaining match but I'm rather hesitant to take an over as they both haven't exactly convinced on scoring chances.

OH Leuven vs Kv Mechelen
Mechelen has been the team on fire after new year which got them from fighting against relegation to now having a playoff 1 spot into their own hands against a beatable opponent. The thing though with Mechelen is that they have a long history of failing very late in the season and just missing out on Playoff 1. A draw likely won't be good enough for Mechelen so they will have to go forward. Nerves will quite likely be an issue. OHL needs a win and only a win in order to possibly still avoid the playdowns but overall they just haven't played that well lately. I can see them taking the counter-attack approach starting the game with a lot of focus on the defense hoping to get a counter in. If they fall behind though, they will need to start taking crazy risks. Based on form and quality I would always go for Mechelen outright win at 2.5+ but given their history of failing in these types of situations I'm more cautious. I took just 0.056 units on
Mechelen 1st Half +0 Corners @ 1.970 and 0.068 units on
Mechelen Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.250. OHL at some point will need to take risks. I'm also keeping an eye open on a possible live over bet.
