The match yesterday didn't exactly play out as I hoped for resulting in a first relatively big loss on the season of -0.98 units which could have been quite a bit less if one of the corner bets didn't flip from a win to a loss in the last minutes. However, it's all part of the game and it doesn't (yet) affect my confidence in the short term. I'm still looking to get a good amount of volume in this weekend and already have plenty of pre-game positions. 2 Matches only today because the games from teams that play in Europe have been postponed.
Kv Oostende vs Sint-Truiden
Oostende so far has 6 points with 2 wins agaisnt 'weak' teams and 2 losses against 'top' teams. They need to have it from their work ethic and are a counter-style team with a coach that puts a lot of importance on the Defense. This however mainly seems to be the case in away games or at home against top teams. They took the better start at home against Mechelen, managed to take the lead early but got under pressure later in the match also because they fell with 10. So far this season, they have yet to win a corners matchup with an overall 18 corners for and 31 against. Pretty much in all aspects, they have been average which is an elevated rating thanks to their good mentality. My main view is to oppose them against good teams while being cautious or even backing them against weak teams. Sint-Truiden so far showed good form yet failed to really translate it into points with 3 draws and a loss which now puts them last in the standings at a place they don't belong at. They tend to have a lot of possession but fail the really create a lot of danger aside from some distance shots from Koita. I do rate them the better team over the course of a season which makes the fact that they are the -0.25 favorite understandable. They are 3W-1L on their corner matchups with 18 created - 17 against. I'm just going to wait and see what happens in this match before possibly taking some positions.

Racing Genk vs Cercle Brugge
Racing Genk has been the hot team so far just putting up impressive performances despite having lost a couple important players while not always being too secure in their defense. It's mainly new coach Vrancken who made a team out of individually good players that failed to get anything going last season. They have been on top of my list of teams to blindly bet and they will continue to be so until proven otherwise or if the odds really get adjusted which doesn't seem to be the case just yet. They managed to score 13 goals in 3 matches leading the standings of shots on target and they tend to take really hot starts in their games. Cercle Brugge has a great end of last season but haven't managed to continue this with 2 losses away from home (both 2-0 against Standard & Westerlo) and with just 1 goal scored they seem to have a striker problem as Matondo left. They for sure are not a bad team but right now they are still looking for the right form especially in away matches while being a bit overrated due to their good run at the end of last season. I'm expecting Genk to continue their good form with Cercle trying to hold them off and score on a counter. I'm just going with the trend of Genk & Over in this match and took the following bets... 0.3 units on
