AA Gent vs FC Antwerp
Both played an European match on Thursday and lost but the main difference is that AA Gent needed to take a trip which should add a bit to the fatigue. AA Gent put up an overall poor performance as the big favorite against Omonio I guess overestimating themselves. While the team certainly has quality and potential, it showed that there is no guarantee whatsoever that they will show that on the pitch. Antwerp had a more difficult opponent against Basaksehir and actually could have qualified. Both teams are unbeaten in the league with 4 wins for Antwerp and 2 Wins-2 Draws for AA Gent. I don't see one team being that much better than the other and I guess both rather not lose than take the risk of going for the win. I see AA Gent as slightly overvalued due to the fact that they had to travel and a draw not a bad outcome for both. I took 0.25 units on
Antwerp +0.5 @ 1.936 and also 0.1 units on
Draw @ 3.685 & 0.05 units on
Antwerp 1H +0.25 @ 1.818. I also see the corners handicap on the high side, Antwerp so far is 4W-0L on under 10 corners while Gent is 2W-2L and stats on corners in matches between G5 Teams the last 3 seasons show a 38W-19L on under 10.5 corners when looking at my stats sheet. I took 0.336 units on

Kv Kortrijk vs Standard
Standard is pretty similar to last season even though they are showing more willingness to work and go for it this season in order to make up for their lack in quality. With 4 points and 2 losses in a row against OHL & Westerlo, they are now 16th and there is no real reason why all of a sudden things will change in the short term. Kortrijk is just 1 place above also with 4 points taking the win against Seraing. In their 2 previous matches, they played Club Brugge & Union where they just fell short. One of their problems was scoring but with Gueye & Selemani getting in better form again and the transfers of Lamkel Zé & Avenatti this should have improved by now. I don't really see Kortrijk as the underdog and took cautious pre-game bets of 0.15 units each on
Kortrijk +0 @ 2.072 &
Kortrijk 1st half +0 @ 2.030. If Lamkel Zé is in the starting 11 and I'm able to find a bet for him to score or be the first goalscorer I might take a beer bet on that if the odds are reasonable. Standard also has been one of the higher corner teams going to at least 10 in each of their matches & Kortrijk at home also never went below 10 so that might be something to keep an eye on. I took 0.062 units on
Over 11 corners @ 2.719 and will possibly look to add to that on an over 9.5 line or lower in-game.
Union vs Anderlecht
Anderlecht had a great moment for the first time since long qualifying for an european group stage but they needed penalties for that. Union has still looked good so far this season (aside from their match in between CL Qualif) despite some key players leaving. Honestly, I have no clue how to properly estimate how these teams possibly could do in this matchup. All scenarios where union is way better, Anderlecht way better, open or closed matches would not surprise me. Anderlecht should have a tactical edge as Mazzu knows all the weaknesses of Union as former coach. Anderlecht +0.5 @ 1.80 odds or higher would start to get my interest. For now,

Westerlo vs Eupen
Westerlo played a crazy match last week losing 5-4 against Mechelen arguably being the slight better team. So far this season they have been quite good but nowhere in the range of Union last season which seems to be what they valuations are too much based on. Eupen is considered a relegation candidate and they played their worst match last week losing against Seraing. In the matches before they actually did not look all that bad putting ok performances against Top teams. Key Eupen striker Prevljak is injured which makes this quite tricky as I like the over in this match. I'm not fully willing to commit to a -1 line for Westerlo or an over bet without Prevljak. So I'm just going to also wait and see what happens in-game before possibly taking something.
