The match between Club Brugge & Cercle pretty much played out exactly as I anticipated with Cercle Taking a good start and Club not looking dominant at the start of the 1st half with this slowly changing toward the end of it where Club scored the 1-0 and more goals following in the 2nd half. While I did manage to earn close to 0.5 units on the match, it does feel like a lost opportunity as I was too busy not losing units. 8 more matches to go this week so plenty more opportunities starting today with 4 games...
Genk vs Sint-Truiden
Genk is 3rd in the league with 5 wins and a loss which should have been 6 wins in a row as they have shown a combination or both quality and good mentality with players in form. They have been underrated on the betting market going 4.5W-1L-0.5 P against their asian lines and the main questions are if they can keep up this good streak and if the betting market already adjusted their valuations. Sint-Truiden had a great streak at the end of last season but had a rather difficult start this season with 3 draws followed by a loss. in their previous 2 games against Mechelen and Oostende however, they managed to take the wins so they have momentum. This match feels a bit similar to Club Brugge yesterday and I see it likely for Stvv to take a good start with Genk having difficulties initially getting into their play to eventually once the lead is taken potentially score more goals. I do see value in going for a low stake and big odds for a comfortable win which I regret not having done yesterday. So I took 0.1 unit on
Racing Genk -2 @ 4.828 and I'm also leaning toward
Genk Team total Over 1.5 @ 1.685 which I already took a 0.2 unit bet on with an eye to take more in-game. Racing Genk is a team that is willing to go forward at the cost of getting goals against which also made me get 0.07 units in on Genk To Win & Both To Score @ 3.347. AS Eupen vs KV Kortrijk
Kortrijk was the first team this season to fire their coach after a very long streak taking very few wins and points. Custovic will be taking over from Belhocine and I'm honestly not sure if it will bring an improvement. Kortrijk by no means are a bad team and they should have the quality not to get in any kind of relegation problems. The numbers however are there as they are 2nd last in the standing while they are the team with the least shots on goal with an average of 2.5 and only 2 in the last 3 matches. Eupen is considered a relegation candidate as the money was pretty much pulled out of the entire project. They are 14th in the league with 6 points having put up ok performances against some of the better teams but also losing at home against Seraing. last week they took a surprise win away against Westerlo in a match where the under had most value. For this match, it remains to be seen what will change for Kortrijk after their coach change and I'm not quite ready to gamble on it so I will leave it for what it is and see if anything interesting comes up live.

Kv Mechelen vs Seraing
Mechelen is currently 10th in the standing with 7 points with mixed performances. I see them as weaker compared to last season and they still have some missings. Storm will be back from injury but he will start on the bench. Seraing also has been a mixed bag at times looking like they are totally unable to create something just defending but at the stame time they managed to take a 1-3 win away against Eupen while they have an average of 5.3 attempts on target in the last 3 games. Most likely this match will turn out in Mechelen taking the initiative trying to push Seraing back but likely having a hard time to score while having to watch out for counters. I'm not willing to blindly oppose Seraing anymore or take Mechelen with a -1 handicap. The only bet I'm keeping an eye on is Mechelen 1s Half on the corners handicap. for now,

Standard right now is a team that lacks overall quality which they try to make up for by having an excellent team mentality and willingness to work. They are currently in the midfield with 7 points after 6 games and overall are break even against their Asian handicaps. While they rank quite high in Shots on Target in the last 3 games (6.3 average), very few of those were actually dangerous and it are mainly corners that they were able the produce. Winning their last 3 matchups creating an average of over 8 just by themselves. Oostende is 1 point behind but they are with 3 losses in a row now after taking wins against Charleroi and Mechelen. They are also a team that more needs to have it from work ethic compared to quality. I do expect this to be a match where both teams put in more effort than quality with Standard taking the initiative and Oostende laying back. This should result in Standard doing well on the 1st half corners which is something that showed in previous matches. My main bet in this match is 0.5 units on
Standard 1H -0.5 Corners @ 1.929 and I also took 0.164 units on
Standard -1 Corners @ 1.970. I also took a 0.5 unit pre-game position on
Under 2.75 @ 2.019.
