The Genk match in the mid-week didn't play out a I anticipated, as Genk was unable to get anything going while I saw a potential scenario of them winning by multiple goals. However the strategy to mainly wait to see before really getting in saved me a ton on money and losing a minimum on that match felt like a win. Tonight there is kind of a similar scenario with Gent who I potentially see taking an easy win but at the same time I first want to see them play well.
AA Gent vs FC Dender
I see AA Gent as a team that has been in a downtrend for some years now which very much could be turned around as they aquired a good coach and they also enforced themselves in key positions. I don't see a situation where all of a sudden they start winning all their matches easily though. At the same time, I potentially still see them valued based on their poor form of the last years especially when it comes down to wins with multiple goals. I backed them last week as the underdog away agains Antwerp and they managed to win despite taking a red card and falling behind. This accroding to their coach also led to a poor training week so it remains to be seen how much of an influence that has. Dender is currently last in the league as they lost many key players including their coach. Last week at home, they managed to keep Union at a 0-0 draw for longto still lose 0-1 right at the end. I can see a scenarip where AA Gent has a relief win confirming that they actually have a good team now and Dender likely will crawl back in the hope to break out on the counters. I took 0.4 units on
AA Gent 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.848 which feels like the best option to get exporure without risking too much and possibly an opportunity to take more in case they would fall behind or in case they are up by 1 goal later in the match. I also took a tiny 0.14 unit bet on
AA Gent 1H -0.5 Corners @ 1.630 as they should be the one going forward from the start and keep going in case they score. Iwill also keep my eye open for a potential high odds -1.5 handicap win for A Gent but need to see good form confirmed first.

I could probably look this up just as easily as asking you but I'm curious about what country this takes place in.
It also happens to me often to ask questions which I otherwise easily could look up. I'm from Belgium and cover exclusively the Belgian League for many years now (along with Belgian Teams in Europe). If anything, it's really needed to specialize if you want to beat the sport betting market these days. I still highly enjoy it and keeping a blog really helped to stay consistant and disciplined.
