It was a good Saturday mainly thanks to the women match for the title which I followed and where some of the odds made no sense given the circumstance which brought about some solid profit with limited risk. 4 Matches now on Sunday...

Anderlecht vs Club Brugge

I can be fairly short when it comes down to this match as this for me is one of those cases where Club Brugge is just the team with overall way more quality which has shown in the 4 encounters so far this season. On top, they also have more motivation as they are still fighting for the title and need a win to have a slight chance in the last week. I have a hard time to see Anderlecht capable of loading themselves up another time and even if they manage to do this there is still a high chance that they will just lose. So I just took the better team at what I see as a soft price. I took 0.338 units on Club Brugge -0.5 @ 1.811 & 0.162 units on Club Brugge 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.918. In case Anderlecht somehow would take the lead I likely will be willing to put some more at risk on a comeback.

Kv Mechelen vs Charleroi

This is a match where there is nothing left to play for aside from Mechelen leaving their home fans with a good feeling in their last home match. One the end of Charleroi they will want to keep up the good momentum with an eye on the match against Antwerp but there might be some rotation and Heymans is injured. My lean is on Charleroi as the underdog but I at least first want to see the lineup before getting in. No Pre-Game Bets

AA Gent vs Genk

AA Gent in theory can still pass Antwerp for the 5th place but they will need a win against Both Genk and Union which after getting 25 goals against so far in the playoffs is mission impossible. This won't stop them from trying though and I expect a similar type match where they want to play but eventually lose focus and get a bunch of goals against. They are still without Watanabe and only scored 2 goals so far. Genk has enough with a point and if Anderlecht failed to win are already sure of the 3rd place. They are coming of a period with Poor results and arguably still are in it. Some rotation will be done as Heynen and Smets are suspended so they will have a somewhat experimental lineup. Overall though, they have shown to have a good bench and I see them as the winner scoring more than 1 goal. I'm not 100% comfortable with the lines though as I want the Team Total Over 1.5 and if possible 2.0+ odds on the away win. So for now I'm waiting and I will see how it goes. I'm also leaning toward Genk on the corners handiap as I see them going forward the most. For now, No Pre-Game Bets

Patro vs Cercle Brugge

Purely based on Player quality, the 1st division teams should always come out on top over 2 matches in this encounter. However, Cercle Brugge has been in a horrible form and as a young group they were really affected by the pressure in the playdowns while in theory, the pressure will be even higher today. In the hope to fix this and create a shock effect, they brought on a new coach Storck for 2 matches who relegated with Kortrijk but did a great job there. So the main question today is if they can raise their level of play again. Patro is an annoying team to play against and they have nothing to lose today. I don't expect Cercle Brugge to all of a sudden turn everything around and likely they won't blindly go forward but instead keep the needed caution. I think it's more likely for this one to be low-scoring instead of a goalfest and took small positions of 0.122 units on Under 2.5 @ 1.961 & 0.078 units on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.010. If the corners market becomes available I might take Cercle on the handicap as I see them as the team with the initiative.
