Penne a linguini

This was an attempt to introduce a new Italian dish into our home. The original recipe featured a fried sausage with onions in a beer reduction followed by the famous blue cheese, and we took the opportunity to add grated Parmesan. We also sprinkled some black pepper on top and served it with a Stella Artois Gold beer.

We didn't like the result, and the recipe was abandoned after the first attempt.

Our palates didn't accept the beer reduction in the sauce well, and for the first time in this family's history, the addition of blue cheese didn't save a dish. We stuck with our signature dish: penne carbonara. I think I'll try making tagliatelle with butter and sage next week.

Essa foi uma tentativa de introduzir um novo prato italiano em nossa casa. A receita original apresentou uma linguiça frita e acebolada, em uma redução de cerveja que depois recebia o famoso queijo azul, e aproveitamos para adicionar parmesão ralado. Ainda salpicamos uma pimenta do reino e empratei e servi acompanhado de uma cerveja Stella Artois Gold.

Não gostamos do resultado, e a receita foi abandonada já na primeira tentativa.

Nosso paladar não aceitou bem a redução da cerveja no molho, e pela primeira vez na história dessa família a adição do queijo azul não salvou um prato. Seguimos com nosso carro chefe: penne carbonara. Acredito que vou tentar fazer um talharin na manteiga e sálvia na próxima semana.
