Poppy flower day

We had father's day in Germany yesterday. I met with some friends for a hike in the Kaiserstuhl.

The meeting was in Bickensohl. A small village at the end of a valley. It's the origin of gray burgundy wine.

We had luck with the weather. It was sunny until noon. Later some clouds came out but it didn't rain at all.

It was amazing to see all the blossoming poppy's next to the trails and in the vineyards.

Back in the village some steps later we had coffee and cake at the local boule club.

After all it was a perfect day out 😎
