Afternoon Run - 6.69km - 00:43:35 - Recovery continues

Description from Strava: Its Friday!
As I've just run home after work, its official, the weekend starts here!
Its been a busy week, with time spent catching up with family (meal out to celebrate my brothers birthday on Monday and a Teams call to celebrate my partners birthday on Wednesday). On Tuesday and Thursday evenings I've been pending more time on my Accountancy course, and On Tuesday I also had a very relaxing and helpful Physio session
I've also managed to keep up with my usual training sessions, walking to work and running home 4 days a week.
As far as recovery goes:
Well I think its going pretty well. My watch still apparently thinks I need some more rest, but I feel ok. To be fair, after the run on Monday evening, it told me I needed 72 hours to recover... so I guess I'm heading in the right direction!
Rest is a good way to start the weekend though. I have plenty of jobs/chores needed for this weekend, including food shopping, mowing the lawn, cleaning the kitchen and (yet more) ironing. I also will do a small run somewhere, but will very much play it by ear to see how far I end up running.
For now though, it's Friday evening, which is the longest time before work on monday, and so its time to put my feet up and relax.
While in town on Wednesday, I meandered past HMV, and couldn't resist some new music.
Paradise Lost - Ascension
Green Lung - Woodland Rites
It was tough to choose, but I've decide to give the Paradise Lost album the first spin this evening...
Fun fact - both of the lead singles from this album were actually produced by one us here on Hive - @ashtv - check out his post here - https://peakd.com/filmmaking/@ashtv/i-directed-a-paradise-lost

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
