Description from Strava: Another easy run effort after work. As Mentioned previously I'm looking to extend some of these evening runs a little, and today was more of that. This time I decided to aim for at least 10km, and to do this I left work in a different direction. Instead of heading straight down the hill through the arboretum, I headed in the other direction along the top of Greetwell Road before turning past the Tower Estate, and heading back along Monks Road.
Like on Tuesday's run, I ran past the Brayford again, and along Tritton Road. However, when I arrviced at Dixon Street, I chose to head towards the high street, instead of the detour past Boultham Park like last time. Continuing up Cross o'cliff hill and then into the village, I eventually covered 11km in 1 hour and ten minutes, which was a useful distance. Will definitely do this one again

...I was expecting to get absolutely drenched. I even missed out the usual walk into work this morning, and instead I got a lift into work from Dad. It was expected to ease off as the day wore on, and so I still planned to run home in the afternoon. I was prepared for rain, but as it turned out I managed to avoid the worst of it. In fact, all I had was a few spots of rain in the middle of town. Safely home in the dry, there are some big black clouds beginning to loom ominously, but I'm inside now so it can do what it likes!
