Lovely run out along the A607 to Wellingore and back today. It's been ages since I've run this route, and I thoroughly enjoyed the session. Checking strava below, my last attempt at this route was back in June 2024...

The route is simple enough. Leaving home in Bracebridge Heath, I run down the A607 through a number of small villages (Harmston, Coleby, Boothby Graffoe, Navenby). After Navenby is a small loop around the village of Wellingore, before I then Head back up the A607 to home.

Nice and easy effort for the most part, although it was warmer than expected.
considering its now November, I'm still in shorts and t-shirt, and no hat or gloves, and it still feels so mild!

Compared to previous weekends (where I've struggled with motivation) today I was able to get my long run done and out of the way by lunchtime for once, which is great as I now have the rest of today and all of tomorrow to actually get stuff done in, instead of wasting time procrastinating!
This afternoon I will be catching up on a few chores, and then getting ready to talk to my partner this evening... and then tomorrow I will have a mock exam to do in preparation for my exam on Thursday next week
Speaking of preparation, I need to get stuff ready for next weekend, as I'll be heading up to Carlisle to celebrate my Birthday. I've have various bits planned including visiting Carlisle Castle and Cathedral, going for a meal out, and running a 20 mile loop in the peak district, but I also plan a bit of parkrun tourism, and will be attending the parkrun in Carlisle next Saturday.
Lots to prepare for, and lots of stuff to start packing!

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

22 kilometers is a long journey, and if we start working that much, then one thing is confirmed: we won't be fat again.
