Description from Strava: Cover image taken from the walk earlier this morning at Budby Nature Reserve

Its been a busy Bank Holiday weekend to be honest, especially in terms of physical activity. It started on Friday with a 5km walk with a fiend a used to work with (and it was great to have a proper catch-up). Then I had 2 walks on Saturday checking out 2 local nature reserves, and then on Sunday I went for a long-ish 10km run, and then spent 4 hours in the afternoon wandering around town playing PokemonGo. I was out again this morning to visit a reserve a little further afield near Sherwood Forest:

Over than some issues tying to find parking, it was a lovely little reserve... a good example of dry heathland habitat, and covered with the Heather which is currently in full bloom.

And then when we arrived home after the walk, I quickly got changed to head back outside to do Mondays run

It'll be a relief to go back to work tomorrow, just so I can have a rest!

Considering how tired I felt, the run actually went reasonably well... I stuck again to the low heart rate zone 2 stuff, and slowly meandered up the bypass and back. Just keeping it nice and easy, and I actually felt a little more energized and awake after completing it haha!

Now to go for a shower, and then quickly iron some shirts for returning to the office tomorrow, and then hopefully I can relax for the rest of the evening :-)

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

There should be a one of rest day during the week, the way you also take a day of rest, because a person gets tired, but if a person continues his routine, it is very good for his health.
