We reach the new year and, in the areas where I live in, a new amateur cycling race season started. Today I want to show a post included in the Towards the Bikend initiative: you can find more explanations in the first episode CLICKING HERE and HERE. This time I post about a sportstalksocial topic, focused on a series of photo taken during the first race of the local amateur season. The shots date back to two weeks ago about, taken by me along the circuit the cyclists repeated several times, and located along the boundaries of the local industrial area.
Siamo arrivati al nuovo anno e dalle mie parti è iniziata una nuova stagione ciclistica amatoriale. Oggi voglio proporre un post per la rubrica Towards the Bikend di cui potete trovare più spiegazioni CLICCANDO QUI e QUI. Questa volta tratterò un tema targato sportstalksocial incentrato su una serie di scatti creati durante la prima gara della stagione. Le foto risalgono a circa due settimane fa, scattate da me lungo il circuito da ripetere più volte che si snodava attorno ai confini della zona industriale locale.

The route was one of the usual ones used by the organization. In this case, the competition was the first of the amateur road cycling season of the city where I live in.
Il percorso era uno dei soliti utilizzati dall'organizzazione. Nel caso specifico, la competizione era la prima delle gare ciclistiche amatoriali su strada che si svolgono nella città in cui vivo.
As I usually do, I took my mountain bike and left home. After a few kilometers, I stopped and took some photos. Each repetition of the circuit, I changed the place and took shots from different views.
Come al solito, ho preso la bici e sono partito da casa. Dopo pochissimi chilometri mi sono fermato a bordo strada e ho scattato qualche foto. Ogni volta che i corridori effettuavano un giro del tracciato, io cambiavo zona e scattavo qualche foto da angolazioni differenti.
Also this time I retook my old smartphone, considering that it has a better yield on images taken in motion. Some of them are a little bit blurred and altered on the outer parts, but I think they are acceptable for our scopes.
Anche in questo caso ho rispolverato il vecchio smartphone, considerato che ha una resa migliore su immagini in movimento. Alcune sono un poco mosse o deformate ma per i nostri scopi penso che siano più che sufficienti.
This time I decided to give a monochrome effect, replacing the photo in black and white with high lights and a few dark parts. I use different types of curve levels to enhance each image.
Questa volta ho deciso di dare un effetto monocromatico, sostituendo le immagini con corrispettivi in bianco e nero dotate di luci intense e poche parti scure. Ho usato tipi differenti di livelli curve per valorizzare ogni immagine.
