My Actifit Report Card: May 27 2022
Ideal conditions for a mountain bike ride!
The sky was clear, all day long. After a spot of shopping in the morning and a visit to my elderly mother in the afternoon, I took my wife to work and then set off on a cycle ride.
I'm glad I did because it was fabulous!
After leaving the house, initially the wind seemed to be very strong but I think that was due to being exposed on a hill ridge. It soon settled and once into the forest tracks it was calm.
I was surprised how quiet it was, hardly anyone around until I reached Buchan Park.
I love tracks like this one below, narrow flat and fast!
A foxglove caught my eye, so I took a picture. Just an example of the wild flowers that are everywhere right now.
The last stop was the lovely lake at Buchan park. The reflection today was stunning.
So that was around 14 miles in a circular route which is one of my regular rides but can be different every time due to the choice of tracks in some parts of the route.

It's a great looking area that you've got to ride in. I must stop procrastinating and blow the dust and cobwebs off of my bike and get out for a ride soon.
