My Actifit Report Card: September 12 2022
We visited Waterford today, home of the famous Waterford Crystal company.
First, we took a walk around the town centre, taking some pictures of the wall art which is very impressive.
In the square there was a pair of spooky eyes looking at us 🤣
We stopped for lunch and I had a lovely Cajun chicken panini, very delicious but a little filling for lunch.
After that the highlight of the day was a guided tour of the Waterford Crystal factory. It took just under an hour but very interesting.
We observed workers at their benches grinding out the glass bowls and also the furnaces where the glass is blown into blanks for various pieces.
A lovely day. We were quite tired after that and had a cup of tea before returning to Stradbally.
