X marks the spot! Not sure what the problem is but this appeared on the pavement near our house. 🤷
That's my quote of the day. Another day for me in the hot kitchen. Actually it isn't that hot at this time of year even with all the ovens and most of the gas hobs going! The extraction system keeps the ambient temperature down. Incoming breeze from outside creates a chill in some spots near the swing doors.
Looks like it could get even colder shortly as we have a cold snap fast approaching our shores from the arctic 🥶.
I hope is doesn't snow!

They do this to mark pavements with where pipes and things are underground. Blue being water and a cross being a junction I think. Different colours mean different things like gas and electricity. It usually means they are about to dig up the road!

I saw them all over on a London street recently and looked it up to see what they were. There must have been a hundred markings on this particular street. They were everywhere.
