It's always nice to get the first day back at work out of the way! All downhill from here I say. And it's the weekend too which is always a more relaxed kind of atmosphere as there are no management around usually. 😉 While the cats away ....!
Well, it's not quite like that but you know what I mean! Sometimes too many rules get in the way of the smooth running of a unit.
The weather is not too bad here in the south of England, far milder than further north as the news has shown. Motorways cut off overnight due to the snow.

I think it depends on the management style as some managers seems to cause blockers rather than unblock them. My manager at work pretty much leaves me to get on with things which is nice.
