My Actifit Report Card: March 16 2023

These two impressive stacks are all that remains of the heavy industry that used to occupy this area in the South of England. Nowadays the whole area is dedicated to retail parks, including a Swedish firm called IKEA which is situated directly beneath the towers.

The store is massive, it took us 1 hour and a half to browse the displays and then pickup our choice from the warehouse. They have a very large restaurant too. We chose a very British meal of fish and chips 😌.

We enjoyed our trip today, it's good to venture away from the local area once in a while to keep up with the constant change.

Yes, they have been a landmark in the Croydon skyline my whole life actually, I must look up the history of the area. Incidentally, there was also an aerodrome here too, the original terminal building still stands! A very art deco design.
