My Actifit Report Card: March 8 2022

Today I did something I haven't done in a while. I went out jogging because I had decided to START AFRESH!

I definitely struggled within me to leave my house. It was weird how I became self-conscious and...shy? I don't know. All I know is my mind was really occupied with thoughts of having to let myself be seen by a lot of people.

By the time I got to the express, where I'd cross to the GRA because it had less attention, my nerves has receded by a lot. I had forgotten how good it felt to work off tension. I actually never knew I had accumulated so much stress. All I felt was relief, even if temporary.

The sun wasn't hot, thankfully. Yet, I was so out of shape that my breathing went off charts and the ache in my legs intensified within a measly five minutes. I was incredibly slow and stopped to catch my breath atleast two times but I made sure I covered my target.

In the end, I made it back to the express sweating like a goat who'd seen a butcher's knife. It was all worth it. I felt the adrenaline coursing through my veins as my brain secreted what I believe would be dopamine & oxytocin because I had met my targets.

And once again it brings me to this...

Is it common to jog on the street there? From the pictures it feels a little hard to imagine. It’s actually not that common in Japan unless it’s near a lake or in a park.
