It sounds like you've had a good morning thus far. I've not been out yet today, it's next on my list, but I am a walker and rambler, not really a runner. Luckily our Winter has been rather 'nice' in New England terms and with the heavy southern gale last night and rain today we have rain and 50F (10 C) so my walk should be good. I do love a snow walk, tho, the sound of the crunch of morning snow underfoot often lures me out there.
My gals are getting a bit older as well, but this year I'll add new babies to their flock (not always easy but needed) Maybe your gals need some new blood in their coop to stir up their lives haha. @steevc

We've had mixed weather this winter. I don't crunching over snow, but it's a fine line between that and sheet ice :)
We will have to see if we get more hens. There is a plan to move their run this year, so will have to see how they take that. They are not much trouble to look after.
