Exposición y Entendimiento + Runa del Día / Exposure and Understanding + Rune of the Day
Publico más tarde de lo usual hoy porque me levanté a las 6 am para asistir a una perqueña conferencia sobre enseñanza de personas en el espectro autista, que tuvo lugar en la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Central de Venezuela. Fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora y fascinante, pero duró toda la mañana, por lo que apenas ahora puedo dedicarme a escribir.
Esta actividad es parte de un proceso de formación cada vez más amplio en lo que respecta a la atención de la salud mental. Ya tengo muchísimo trabajo en mí mismo y he alcanzado un nivel que me habilita a tomar la responsabilidad de acompañar a otras personas en sus retos emocionales, espirituales y sociales, por lo que el camino se revela claro ante mí. Es mi labor ahora compartir todo lo que he aprendido en silencio y discreción durante los últimos años, usando para ello el contexto narrativo y el deportivo.
Y hablando de eso...
I post this later than usual today because I got up at 6 am to attend a small conference about teaching of people in the autistic spectrum, which took place in the School of Humanities of the Central University of Venezuela. It was a deeply enriching and fascinating experience, but it took all morning, so I could only begin to write at this time.
This activity is part of an increasingly broader training process with regards to the attention of mental health. I already have a lot of work on myself and I've reached a level that enables me to take on the responsibility of accompanying other people in their emotional, spiritual and social challenges, and therefore the path is clearly revealed before me. It's now my duty to share everything that I've learned in silence and discretion during the last few years, using the narrative and sports context to that end.
Este fin de semana asistí nuevamente con mi grupo de HEMA a otra convención, la segunda parte de la MyHero Fest, llamada Heroff Cultural, un espacio en el que múltiples exponentes de las artes se presentaron con sus stands, creando arte en vivo y haciendo ponencias acerca de sus proyectos personales e institucionales. También a nosotros nos correspondió una ponencia ayer domingo, en la cual tuvimos una audiencia bastante nutrida. De hecho, fuimos de los más esperados, pues lo que hacemos es único en el país y nosotros mismos somos un grupo bastante particular. Durante el evento, no hicimos muchas demostraciones de combate, pero mucha gente se acercó a preguntar sobre lo que hacemos y yo también tuve la oportunidad de hacer múltiples lecturas de Runas a todo tipo de personas, incluyendo los organizadores del evento. También observé muchísimos fenómenos a mi alrededor que me proporcionaron abundante información sobre el entorno en el cual estoy entrando ahora, pero requeriría demasiado tiempo describirlo todo, así que basta decir que fue una convención divertida, empoderadora y que nos dio mucha exposición.
En nuestra escuela de HEMA, tenemos tres estudiantes diagnosticados en el espectro autista, mi compañero Alfonzo tiene Tourette's y su novia también está en el espectro, así que esta conferencia de hoy engrosa mis competencias para trabajar con todos ellos y ayudarlos en todo lo que pueda. Además, si recuerdan, estoy también narrando esa historia de rol con fines terapéuticos, que puede beneficiarse aún más de este conocimiento que estoy adquiriendo ahora. La explicación de los aspectos principales de la condición, sus expresiones más claras, los retos que ofrecen a la persona afectada y algunos de los métodos usados para ofrecer apoyo y guía, fue tan esclarecedora que me encontré revisando todas mis interacciones durante los años, identificando patrones que, hasta ahora, no tenía idea de que existían. Muchas cosas cobraron sentido y puedo ver las posibilidades que ésto me abre en tanto al fortalecimiento de mis relaciones personales, profesionales, privadas y públicas.
This weekend I once again attended another convention with my HEMA team, the second part of the MyHero Fest, called Heroff Cultural, a space where multiple representatives of the arts exhibited their stands, creating art live and making presentations about both personal and institutional projects. We also had a presentation this Sunday, in which we had a pretty big audience. In fact, we were among the most awaited exhibitors, because what we do is unique in the country and we ourselves a pretty particular group. During the events, we didn't do a lot of combat demonstrations, but many people approached to inquire about what we do and I also had the opportunity to do multiple Rune readings to all kinds of people, including the event's organizers. I also observed quite many phenomena around me that gave me abundant information about the context that I'm entering now, but it'd take too much time to describe it all, so suffice it to say that the convention was fun, empowering and that it gave us serious exposure.
In our HEMA school, we have three students diagnosed to be in the autistic spectrum, my partner Alfonzo has Tourette's and his girlfriend is also in the spectrum, so today's conference expands my competences to work with them all and to help them in everything that I can. Additionally, if you remember, I'm also narrating that roleplaying story with therapeutic goals, which can take even more advantage of this knowledge that I'm acquiring now. The explanation of the main aspects of the condition, its clearest expressions, the challenges that they offer the affected person and some of the methods used to offer support and guidance, was so enlightening that I found myself reviewing all of my interactions over the years, identifying patterns that I had no idea even existed until now. Many things clicked into place and I could see the possibilities that this opens for me with regards to the strengthening of my personal, professional, private and public relationships.
Ésto, aunado a lo que he estado publicando acerca de la Sombra, mi regreso a los estudios místicos y mi trabajo de exploración narrativa, pueden quizás darles cierta idea del gusto que estoy sintiendo ahora con mi servicio, de la alegría que me llena y la voluntad que tengo para expandir aún más mi rango de acción, mi influencia, mi autoridad y mi capacidad para apoyar a más y más personas. Me gusta mi vida, hahaha.

This, together with what I've been posting about the Shadow, my return to the mystical studies and my work of narrative exploration, might perhaps give you some idea of the pleasure that I'm feeling now with my service, of the joy that fills me and the willingness that I have to expand even further my range of action, my influence, my authority and my capacity to help increasingly more people. I like my life, hahaha.
