Resumen:

Tras un espectacular trabajo en la lomita del zurdo Mario Valle, quien encontró lo que estaba buscando, su primera victoria en esta Serie Nacional, logro alcanzado lanzando 7 entradas completas, apoyado por una defensa vueltabajera de lujo. Vegueros de Pinar del Río, logran vencer a los Toros de la Llanura con balance 6 anotaciones por 5.

Al joven lanzador, todo le fue saliendo a pedir de boca, a pesar de enfrentarse a un experimentado tirador contrario, considerado por muchos, uno de los mejores del país en estos momentos. Sumado, además, a fallas de la defensa contraria, que permitió que la ofensiva de los de vueltabajo, terminaran consumando la victoria, para llevarse en definitivas la subserie particular entre estas dos nóminas.
