Running Report - 10-07-21
Today I wanted to sleep in after what has been an exhausting weekend physically and mentally. I wanted to, but in all honesty that was never actually going to happen.
Heading out to run solo is something I enjoy more than group runs. It's just me and my trusted earpiece. Also, I never run without music, like never.
It's not like group runs are bad though, it's just the difficulty involved in finding someone that synergizes with one's pace and stamina. That I have rarely come across. More often than naught, runners I come across are slower than me, while a few are faster than I am so it's always a struggle to either slow down or speed up.
The actual run was a relatively short, measured run at an even pace. I deliberately tried to maintain a fast pace in other to burn out so I could come home and probably get a lot sleep. Unfortunately that has not worked out so well as I've been busy since with the little respite coming now.
What type of runs do you prefer - individual or group?
11k...? Bloody hell, well done!
