The Calgary Flames have traded Matthew Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers,

for a boat load of players.
Jonathan Huberdeau
MacKenzie Weegar
Cole Schwindt
Conditional first-round pick (2025)

On paper at least Brad Treliving did a great job in a bad situation.

As for Matthew Tkachuk at least he was honest and gave the Flames a chance to get something

back in a trade for him.

The Flames outlook after this trade looks to have a light at the end of the tunnel no thanks

to Johnny Gaudreau.
