Athens marathon
Back in marathon action after three weeks. This time a bit further away from home, in Athens, Greece.
40th edition of the classic marathon, my second time here after 13 years. Back then I was another jubilee, 2500 years after the battle at the Marathon field. Or so I hey say.
Anyways, the course is not easy. Rolling road, sunny day, side wind. No matter, we made it.
My time was 4:15, 2 minutes faster than in Ljubljana. A surprise since I don't train for long runs.
I didn't have any photos yet from the run. I don't believe in having a phone on me. This is from yesterday while the historical stadium was still empty.
I will get action photos and then tell you more about the experience...
