first run in new shoes

Nike Pegasus 41. Wow. I haven't got Nike running shoes since ... I don't remember. Probably some 30 years.

Well, these were a special opportunity and custom designed. Or whatever Nike calls the system where you can define how particular parts of the shoe look like.

What do you think? My son, @niko.lemark designed them.

The run was 5 K short at a steady pace. The shoes felt great. On first half a mile I was tasting the feeling, the heel felt soft. Later I forgot about it and simply glided along. Great.

Since it was humid with temperature around zero I half expected that shoes will feel cold around fingers. They didn't.

Shoes are meant for road and distance running. I guess they will be adequate for tarmac too.

better and better
