Description from Strava:

Saturday morning in fog. Going out on a trail loop toward the hill of Rašica. Right ridge up then to the left and around and back on the opposite ridge. The idea, more a wish, is that on the top I'll be able to peek out of the fog and into the sunshine.

After the first climb was behind me I turned back and below. There are houses hidden in somewhere the fog.

The paths are muddy and slippery, covered with leaves and rocks. It's late autumn after all and they should be like this.

I stopped by the Cene Štupar monument as I always do. A moment of silence and thankfulness.

On the top of Rašica, climbing up the tower, another look down. No luck with the sun today.

Did I tell you about the mud on the trails?

The next part of the journey was on my favorite trail where not many people go. Lonesome trails are barely visible under the leaves.

There you can find such gems.

Today I took my running poles with me. For some change and for some fun.

After such blissful solitude, a reality check struck. Proof that human civilization is an obscenity.

Magnificient creatures caged in mud. It hurts.

In the end, the loop was complete. 15 kilometers with over 500 meters of climb in two hours. An easy run.

better and better
