Today we went to Solčava to help our parents in law. The area is closed to general traffic. Only those who help the locals after the flood are allowed to enter. And the only normal way to reach Solčava is across two mountain passes an from Austria.
On the cover photo, the entrance into Logarska valley, no tourists, empty. It's a sad sight in a way. Yet, it so peaceful.
I didn't take any photos of the havoc that flood did in the village. This photo shows the boulders that water brought down near the church.
Despite hardships and human tragedy, nature is still beautiful. As a proof here is a photo of Mount Raduha, also taken this afternoon on a doggy walk.
In the evening, when we returned home, I did a short continuation run. Extremely slow pace it was.
