My Actifit Report Card: May 4 2025
My session at the gym this morning was pull focused: seated cable rows, lat pulldowns, bicep curls, and tacked on some back extensions because my lower back absolutely loves them. I only did 2 sets of each exercise (except back extensions: 3 sets), and stopped way short of failure. obviously not the sort of thing that's going to build muscle, but it felt more like doing a yoga session but with gym machines. I can play around with the intensity, but I know that if I go too hard then my nervous system will not recover adequately by next session.
Plus 10 minutes on the treadmill. Now I've just got to avoid snacking, and maybe I'll see a bit of a drop in body fat.. I went to the gym 2 times, as I wanted. and I'm so proud of myself. it was hard - especially to workout on Sunday, but still! I enjoyed this experiment, because I went gym in the morning and there were very few people.
