After a long time, there is a light of hope in the cricket arena of Bangladesh. The Bangladesh team started the Australia T20 World by winning. In the eighth World Cup, the Bangladesh cricket team defeated the Netherlands by 9 runs in the Super Twelve.

Bangladesh got its first win in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Since 2007, there has never got a win in the main event. Bangladesh played against the Netherlands yesterday in Hobart. Bangladesh set a target of 145 runs to the Dutch in that match. Chasing that target, the Dutch team got all out for 135 runs.

However, Bangladesh's recent form is not good at all. A few months ago, Bangladesh lost the T20 series against Zimbabwe for the first time in history! In the last T20 World Cup, Bengalis lost a T20 match against a small team like Scotland. Bangladeshi players don't have the strength to play T20. Batsmen who have failed to score 150+ runs on a batting-assisted wicket against Zimbabwe in this era of modern cricket. This rate is nothing but a disappointment

However, despite all its disappointments, the team got its first victory in Australia. That too in the T20 World Cup. The Netherlands won the toss and decided to bowl at the beginning of this match. Batting first, Bangladesh got off to a great start. Opening batsman Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Soumya Sarkar made a partnership of 43 runs. However, the two batsmen returned to the dressing room after getting out at a gap of 4 runs.

After the departure of the openers, the middle-order batsmen didn't do well either. Bangladesh lost 5 wickets for only 76 runs and fell under pressure. However, Afif Hossain pulled the team from that wish. Modaddek Hossain led the team after playing a fighting inning of 38 runs. In the end, the team got a fighting collection of 144 runs in a single innings by Mosaddek.

In response, the Dutch stumbled into batting at the beginning. Two Dutch batters returned to the dressing room before Taskin Ahmed's brilliant bowling opened the run book. Shortly after that, two more batters out in one over, and the Dutch team went on the back foot.

But Colin Ackerman fought alone for the team. His innings of 62 runs off 48 balls gave the team hope of victory for some time. However, the Dutch lost by 135 runs due to the amazing batting of Bangladesh's pace bowlers.

As a result, the Bangladesh cricket team defeated the Netherlands by 9 runs and relieved the regret of 15 years. It is expected that Bangladesh will also continue its winning streak in the upcoming matches.
